Richard Morash, developer of Las Terrazas Golf Villas, has produced luxury housing in different parts of the United States over the past two decades. A resident of Boston, Massachusetts since 1986, Mr. Morash has restored 19 th century homes on Boston’s historic Beacon Hill and Back Bay neighborhoods and converted many formerly derelict buildings into luxury living spaces.
In 1907, the former home of Boston ’s Civil War mayor and 2 adjacent brick town houses were combined to create the first Episcopalian Nunnery in the U.S. , It was located on Louisburg Square which also happened to be the country’s first condominium association and is one of the most exclusive residential addresses. 85 years later the Order decided to move to serve a needier neighborhood and Mr. Morash restored part of the structure to its original status as a grand single family home.
Massachusetts Senator John Kerry currently resides in one of the other original structures. Since then Mr. Morash has restored several other important Boston residential structures and converted the former Kathryn Gibbs School buildings overlooking the Public Gardens into luxury condominium residences. He also restored the former 36 unit Stoneholm Apartment building in Brookline, Massachusetts and converted it into luxury condominiums. The Stoneholm was originally built in the early 20 th century and is one of the foremost examples of French “Belle Epoch” architecture.
Recently, he has taken over the 7 remaining lots in the ultra exclusive “Place des Vosges” residential development on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas and is building individual townhouses of distinction for sale at that location. He has built luxury homes in exclusive communities in Rancho Santa Fe, and Montecito, California.
Mr. Morash now turns his attention to Punta Mita, Mexico, to create the first luxury condominiums in this exclusive residential/resort development.
